The 'Plan-do-review' Coaching Framework

This framework underpins the 'coaching process' of before, during and after our sessions.

How was this model created?

This model was adapted from different frameworks that allow for a coach’s decision making in the planning and reflective process.

The first being the who-what-how model (Till et al., 2019) that shows the relationship between the who we coach, the how we coach and the what we coach.

The second is the "plan, do, review" (Scone, 2020) framework, which ensures continuous improvement in every practise and enables you as a coach to maintain your practise focused on your goals and in line with the team's skills and potential.

These frameworks combined allows for you as a coach to visually see the process behind making decisions on planning and reflecting when creating sessions for your team.

How to use the who-what-how in our coaching.

This section of the framework is all about our participants, and understanding their needs.

How to use the Plan-do-review model in our coaching

This model is all about our sessions. Planning it before hand, doing the session, and reflecting after.
